Those who are made to feel that they “must” give, typically
end up resenting the charitable organizations and not the companies
that promote them.
United Way of Northwest Alabama believes that at no time should an
employee be made to feel that giving is necessary for employment with
your company, that all pledge cards are to be handled with
confidentiality, even those with zero pledges, and that all
contributors have the right to receive prompt, truthful and forthright
answers about how their gifts are being spent.
DONOR PRIVACY POLICY...
United Way of Northwest Alabama does not sell, rent, or otherwise
distribute donor addresses unless the donor has specifically requested
an acknowledgement from the agency designated on his/her personal
pledge card, and then, only the designated agency receives that
donor’s address information
